Photos rat you out. A normal phone photo quietly carries where you were (GPS), what camera took it, and exactly when — and that data rides along every time you share it. Scrub shows you what a photo is carrying, then burns it off. The original file never leaves your phone — everything happens right here.
Honest limits: Scrub works on images your browser can open (JPEG and PNG are solid; most browsers can't decode HEIC — if a photo won't load, share/export it as JPEG first). Cleaning works by re-drawing the picture pixel-by-pixel onto a fresh canvas — the new file is built from the image alone, so the hidden data has nowhere to hide. PNG screenshots usually carry little or nothing to begin with. Scrubbing can't remove what's in the picture itself (faces, signs, plates) — only the invisible data.
